			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.mercurynews.com/california/ci_11620873?source=rss" target="_blank">No California Budget</a> Everybody else needs to borrow in order to bail out the state while they argue over the budget.    <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal" class="Apple-style-span">Chiang, for example, won&#8217;t pay senior citizens, the blind and disabled their Supplemental Security Income checks, but the federal government has offered to temporarily cover the state&#8217;s share. Many college students will be fronted their Cal Grant money through their universities. In addition, 11 credit unions Tuesday announced they would offer at least $22.4 million in emergency loans to taxpayers awaiting their refunds, and possibly to furloughed state workers.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 9pt"><span> </span>I am glad Jack Brown built his corporate headquarters locally.<span>  </span>I am also glad he is doing so well.<span>   </span>I hope he continues to grow and compete with the corporate giants and <u>offers pay that can help support a family</u>.<span>  </span>I am sure he can afford to lose a little to make sure the workers that have built his fortune can pay for things in our inflated economy.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
